Sally Pomme Clayton loves collaborating with musicians, combining spoken word with live sound, from choirs to orchestras, medieval music to punk, percussion to song.
Recent collaborations have been with: Joglaresa making several performances, among them The Carpet of Dreams; The London Gypsy Orchestra; Panos Ghikas making Night Visit; The London Philharmonic Orchestra writing and performing texts for composers Dario Marinelli and David Bruce; Welsh National Opera performing Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, and writing and performing a new text for composer Simon Thorne; The Southbank Gamelan telling Ramayana; London Sinfonietta performing Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf; The Brodsky Quartet writing and performing new stories for The Carnival of the Animals; Helen Chadwick creating several sung story peices.
