Spoken Word – Live Sound

Sally Pomme Clayton loves collaborating with musicians, combining spoken word with live sound, from choirs to orchestras, medieval music to punk, percussion to song.

Recent collaborations have been with: Joglaresa making several performances, among them The Carpet of DreamsThe London Gypsy OrchestraPanos Ghikas making Night VisitThe London Philharmonic Orchestra writing and performing texts for composers Dario Marinelli and David Bruce; Welsh National Opera performing Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, and writing and performing a new text for composer Simon Thorne; The Southbank Gamelan telling RamayanaLondon Sinfonietta performing Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf; The Brodsky Quartet writing and performing new stories for The Carnival of the AnimalsHelen Chadwick creating several sung story peices.
